We’re excited to be hosting Child Care Day at the Legislature on February 2 and everyone is invited. Parents, child care providers, advocates, and community partners. This day is for all of us who care about the future of child care in our beautiful state.

Bring children with you! Seeing young children in the Capitol helps lawmakers understand firsthand why child care is essential to our economy, our workforce, and our communities.

Early Care Share West Virginia

The Division of Early Care & Education, within the WV Department of Health and Human Resources, Bureau for Children and Families, offers a variety of services designed to improve the affordability, availability and quality of childcare services using Child Care and Development Funds. The Division regulates and supports early childhood development programs for children up to age 13 by assuring they are cared for in a safe environment that promotes the healthy physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth of the child during a portion of the day while parents work or attend training, or when they are unable, for other reasons, to provide care for their children.
